Ad Brown & Hannah Ray - Ready And Waiting

@blackholerec - Black Hole 596-1
Black Hole Recordings’s avatar
Through tracks like ‘As The Rain Falls’, ‘You Were Loved’, ‘From Within’ and the unforgettable ‘Chasing Rainbows’, Ad’s unique brand of accessible vocal trance & progressive house has long enthralled dance floors around the world.

The last half-decade has seen him release his inimitable brand of electronic music through many a marque label and imprint. It is through Black Hole Recordings though that Ad will graduate to album artist, with his forthcoming, hotly anticipated sound-prescription ‘Something For The Pain’, and the first single release is the hypnotizing trance-translucence ‘Ready & Waiting’.

Featuring the magnetizing vocal qualities of Brighton-based vocalist/lyricist Hannah Ray (who previously collaborated with Ad on the 2011 release of ‘Scared’), ‘Ready And Waiting’ takes their auditory partnership to a new level high. On his Original version, Ad balances the moving bass undulation with the castaway drift and flow of his pads & chords, building an uber-chilled platform for Hannah Ray’s summoning lyrics and elegiac tones.

Rich Bueno - Running Away

@richbuenomusic - Introducing North London Based Rich Bueno And His Outstanding Debut Single 'Running Away'

As front man of his former band, Rich performed for thousands at festivals, across the UK live circuit and at radio stations Xfm, Absolute and BBC Radio 1.

Having received a generous offer from a large independent, Rich had decisions to make, and therefore chose to jump into the deep end as a solo artist, turning down the label to immerse himself in creating the songs and sounds that had been impatiently budding.

A self taught guitarist and pianist from the age of 11, Rich was soon writing his heart out about life and love. Richwrites with a raw honesty that is both beautiful and sharply stinging. His skilfully orchestrated songs deliver a charged performance, which sneak up on your ears and then move in, imprinting their melodies.

Rich Bueno is set to take 2013 by storm starting with his debut single 'Running Away', which is taken from the forthcoming EP of the same name (due October 12th 2013).The record was produced and mixed by Anthony James (Wretch 32) and Hugh Fothergill (Ed Sheeran / Basement Jaxx) at 'The Dairy' studio in London.

As well as composing the music on the E.P, Rich also recorded every live instrument which allows him to have a uniquely independent control over the finished product.

Sound Avtar - Under The Light EP

@blackholerec / @rub_a_duck / @SoundAvtar - Rub-A-Duck 073

Black Hole Recordings’s avatarSound Avtar presents his ‘Under the Light’ EP on the Rub-A-Duck imprint. On the EP you’ll find various spectra of drum & bass music. The EP starts of with ‘Under the Light’; a nice and easy drum & bass track with a dreamy melody and surreal feel to it, whereas ‘Turbulent Flow’ is a real neuro drum & bass banger. With elements of future garage, 5 AM is the closing track. There’s definitely a little bit for everybody.

For the year 2013-2013 Sound Avtar was voted Best Drum & Bass/Dubstep Dj/Producer by the MYFAV Awards. He uses cutting edge music production techniques, creativity and innovation and concocts tunes so monstrous he can’t go unnoticed by the people in his home country India and around the globe. Carl Nunes ft Jonny Rose - Live Forever

Black Hole Recordings’s avatar@blackholerec - Black Hole 595-0

‘Live Forever’ is a collaboration between Guatemalan DJ Carl Nunes and vocalist/singer-songwriter Jonny Rose. Together they created this heartening and uplifting progressive house track.

Latin American DJ Carl Nunes started producing music at the age of 17. Now, at the age of 21 he developed a unique progressive/house sound, which made him chart in the Beatport top 100 and even brought him a number one hit in the Latin American iTunes chart. Apart from producing, Carl has also been the opener of some of the world’s biggest DJ’s such as Armin van Buuren, Avicii, Steve Aoki, Dash Berlin, Cosmic Gate, Andy Moor and Roger Shah, to name a few. With a lot more releases up his sleeve, Carl Nunes is sure someone to keep an eye on.

With his searing vocals and epic melodies Jonny Rose is one of the most in demand singer/songwriters in EDM. His mixes have been played by people like David Guetta, Tiësto, Nicky Romero and Chuckie, while his music video’s have gather nearly 2 million views on Youtube. Richard Durand - Super Dad‏

With the ‘Las Vegas’ single and mix-comp still loosening club-floor tiles and rocking desktops north, south, east and west, Richard Durand’s next studio strike is already dialled in, locked-on and prepped for flight.

Black Hole Recordings’s avatarPublic health warning issued: Durand’s ‘Super Dad’ is one lean, mean, hard-trancing machine! From first electronica-fused bar to last, his Original Mix plies its production with steely mechanized soundFX, chunky, unstoppable percussion, high-wire tense sub-riffs and pure heavy synth industry.

Doing just what is says on the tin, the Tech-trance mix puts a rolling toughened groove in place and fuels up on all manner of hazardous techno material. Building it with sonorously rumbling bands of LFO, Richard edges in its nagging, catchy lead riff. Finally, with critical mass in sight, Richard engages the side-chain compressor to an explosion of raw floor energy. Bolted into its visceral hard trance frame, when ‘Super Dad’ hits the top of the drop, you don’t want to be looking down!

Vive L'Amour

"...Penelope slides across the floor and bumps into the leg of a table, knocking a bottle of white hair dye over. The hair dye drips down onto Penelope's tail and runs in a straight line down to her head, resulting in a white stripe down her back. Pepe Le Pew immediately sees her and mistakes her for a female skunk. Penelope smells Pepe's odor and tries to run away, but Pepe runs after her, shuts the shop door, and embraces Penelope. Penelope attempts to wiggle free as Pepe tells her things such as, "it is love at first sight," and "we will make beautiful music together." Just before Pepe tries to kiss her, Penelope gets free and runs away..."

"...Penelope climbs into the sink in an attempt to wash the stripe off but is unsuccessful. She runs to a window and tries to open it, but it is stuck. She runs away, and Pepe finds her inside a glass cabinet. They mime to each other, Pepe trying to get Penelope to come out, and Penelope refusing, indicating that it is due to his odor. At this point, in the original short, Pepe Le Pew pulls out a gun and holds it up to his head, then walks out of Penelope's line of sight. Then the gun goes off, and a paniced Penelope rushes out of the cabinet to Pepe. Pepe says, "I missed, fortunately for you," and begins kissing Penelope Pussycat. Penelope runs away and Pepe chases her, bouncing happily around the room. Pepe Le Pew finds Penelope on the windowsill and says that Penelope is trying to prove her love for her by committing suicide, but that he will save her. Pepe runs over and grabs Penelope but drops her, and they both fall out of the window. Pepe Le Pew falls into a blue paint can and Penelope falls into a barrel of water. When Pepe climbs out, he is blue but no longer smelly, and he sees the ragged-looking, sneezing wet cat beside him (who no longer has a white stripe down her back) and asks her if she has seen a beautiful young lady skunk. He goes off to find her. As he calls out Penelope watches him, notices how the paint makes him look handsome, and falls in love with him as her heart begins to beat against her chest. She runs after him and locks him in the perfume shop again, placing the key in her chest. Not recognizing her, Pepe Le Pew tries to discourage her, then runs away. As Penelope chases after Pepe Le Pew, Pepe tells the audience: "You know, it is possible to be too attractive!" He continues to run away as the ending card appears..." - Source.

Rednek ft Madeline Duggan - Killer (Official Music Video)

Killer (feat. Madeline Duggan) - EP, Rednek@searrecords - iTunes Link.

Class and grittiness.. The video accompanies this killer track very well. Madeline's luscious vocals are complimented nicely by sexy elegant shots of herself. The edgyness of the Rednek track is reflected in the scene ideas, with darker natured visuals. There are some nice views of London to create a setting as well as clever use of a mobile screen within the shot to follow through with the visual story. Great editing and production, interesting use of lighting, camera angles and movement techniques, the pace fits well with the overall piece.

O.Crow & L'Raquel - It Is What It Is

@blackholerec / @rub_a_duck - Rub-A-Duck 070 / iTunes Link.

One’s from Russia, one’s from the USA, together O. Crow and L’Raquel are definitely a force to be reckoned with. These kick ass ladies release their ‘It Is What It Is’ on the Rub-A-Duck label. This sturdy glitch hop track is an obvious warning to the world; O. Crow and L’Raquel are taking over!
DJ Hectic has taken up a remixing this track adding extra spice to it, making the release complete.

It Is What It Is - Single, O.CrowHailing from California, U.S., 23 year old L'Raquel is an exciting new name in the world of electronic / dubstep and trap. Active for over a year now, she already released a long list of tracks like "Never Drink Wine", "Blaze", "High For This", "F*ck With Me", "Mirror Mirror", "Roll One Up" (with Yung Incredible) and many others. She had her debut release on Rub-A-Duck only a few months ago with ‘Mind Ya Bizness’ together with F.I.69.

Not pussyfooting around with a dime a dozen lyrics, L'Raquel represents a much needed breath of fresh air in today's avalanche of sugar coated, radio friendly female acts.

Having grown up on the art of British electronic musicians (Prodigy and The Chemical Brothers left their imprint on the fragile teenager mentality), Russian O.Crow could not ignore the emergence of U.K. Garage in the late 90's, which led to her interest in dubstep. Although O.Crow always preferred the underground in her music preferences, she does not limit herself by one style and believes that high quality and interesting music can be found in any direction. However, the most bright emotions of the O.Crow causes heavy bass music, and it’s special musical vision she always wants to share with others.

Hotlife - Get Down

Bulgarian duo Hotlife have created a personal style that’s an appealing mix of progressive house, trance and electro since setting foot in the EDM scene in 2012. At the moment they’re busy writing and creating new tracks with influences of Tiësto, Deadmau5 and Swedish House Mafia.

Sartek - Apocalypse

@blackholerec - Magik Muzik 1077-0

Black Hole Recordings’s avatar"Just how much anticipation can a single track build in the pit of your stomach? Give you goosebumps and butterflies with a build up that can only be likened to that of the touch of a temptress? You know something's coming at you when you feel the track start slowly and escalate rapidly, making you instinctively raise your hands up in the air at the spur of the moment, turning your face heavenward... waiting for that drop to take you on a journey far away.

The track’ Apocalypse’ starts slowly, almost mystically and builds up swiftly, hypnotizing you into believing a revelation is about to take place. A powerful drop and stunning beats generate such euphoria, which is sure to get you to lift your hands up and dance with ardor. Truly an astonishing release, packed with energy, prepare yourselves for a banging progressive electro track!"
