Damn Ellen Degeneres for keeping Gangnam Style stuck in my head for the past month.. but did you all hear the story about the British couple, they are travelling all around the world and having wedding ceremonies in each country they visit! How lovely and romantic is that!!
In other news, well done to @MrRootsy for getting featured on NME, releasing a fabby mixtape, being part of the final 20 boot camp performers in xfactor out of thousands of entrants and for not getting all big headed with his new found stardom! This guy is doing what he loves, living his dreams and being an inspiration to many others.
What's good on TV? My favs lately are of course Ellen (inspirational/entertaining), TOWIE (how annoying are Bobby (Gay Wan), Arg and Gemma.. get off my screeeen), Homeland (must see US drama, everytime its on I swear a little bit of excited wee comes out lol), and the foodie shows, mainly Come Dine With Me (best commentator ever!).

“Rising” is the third title that Paul brings to the dance floor. His previous cuts, “Do The Talking” and “Dali’s Groove” were all received with broad support and now “Rising” is ready to follow the same path. Paul Veth has been spinning since the early 2000s and went from playing different styles to house and club in 2007. Initially kicking it as a resident at club Spock, Tiësto’s sanctuary in the early days of his career, he carefully worked on a solid name as a DJ and after various gigs at clubs like Hed Kandi, Escape Venue, Hotel Arena, Off_Corso, Paul made his first steps in music production. His known cuts before he released “Dali’s Groove” and “Do The Talking” are “All There Is”, “Clap”, “And We Can”, “Feels So Good” and “Make You Feel Alright”.
Taking his Wildlife sound of soulful and funky tech house to the Avanti sublabel with a bit more tech- and electro influence, Paul Veth this time ceases the moment to show the other side of his production skills. Honouring the title of this new single, “Rising” most certainly leans on an incredible build up to an even better climax, taking the party to a new level. Soon on the playlist of the big guys!

Cod fish fritters
1. Defrost two cod fillets and tear into small shreds.2. Mix together gram flour*, self raising flour, and baking powder.
3. Add chopped onions, chives and fish into mix.
4. Add water and mix until runny enough to drop from spoon.
5. Add salt.
6. Fry spoonfuls of the mixture in 2cm of hot oil until golden.
7. Take out and leave to cool on tissue paper.
*gram flour/chickpea flour. This is optional, adds a different taste to mixture.

Julie Thompson’s career spans more than a decade. As a songwriter and, most importantly, as a singer, she featured on over a hundred tracks. Working with big names like Jonas Steur, Signum, Andy Duguid, Ignas, Dinka, Signalrunners, Super8 & Tab she became one of the most requested female vocalists in electronic dance. Julie’s most notable achievements up to this day are the ones she did in collaboration with Tiësto. Tracks produced by the superstar DJ like “Somewhere Inside Of Me” and “Do You Feel Me” have all reached the classic status while in the meantime she joined Tiësto for his Elements Of Life world tour. He had a #1 beatport hit with "The Island", remixed Armin van Buuren and Ferry Corsten (for the second time), mixed the Ministry of Sound Trance Nation Australia compilation for the second year in a row and tours around Australia almost every week. His sound has been described as a signature blend of hands in the air moments with tech infused beats, encompassing influences of trance, techno and tech-house. His hit "The Island" made it to #1 on Beatport while Armin van Buuren asked him to remix is single "Stellar". Ferry Corsten assigned him for a remix of "Brainbox" which led to another remix of his single "Punk". MaRLo's own tracks have been hammered by Armin van Buuren, Tiësto, Markus Schulz, Sander van Doorn, Ferry Corsten and many more. Four of MaRLo's productions were played across the ASOT 500 parties around the globe. Be You
If you could be anyone n the world who would it be?
I would be a mix of Beyonce and Ellen Degeneres (I know I said one person shhh). Beyonce looks gorgeous, has superb vocal talent, can dance very well, has super fab booty and is an all round strong and amazing woman. Ellen is mind-blowingly nice, absolutely inspirational, has a positive and bubbly personality and is just someone everyone loves.
Always be yourself. Unless you can be a unicorn. Then always be a unicorn!
